Goodbye Hello

We moved.
And then we closed on our townhouse 7 months after getting our offer.

A week ago, I went over to the empty home were we lived for almost 6 years, and I cleaned it all up for the new owners. I was sad as I walked around the empty place, and my mind filled with memories of all the good times we had there. As I cleaned, I stopped and prayed for the new owners that would soon be making their own memories in that same house. I prayed that they would enjoy the place as much as we did.
It was bittersweet to say the least.

And then I came to our new home and cleaned some more. Basically, last week was a week of cleaning and unpacking. It was refreshing today to just have time to play with my kids without thinking about the stresses that came along with the "house stuff."

The kids like it here. We like it here. We just wish we could stay here forever.
But, we will likely be moving again in about a year or so, when we buy a new place of our own, once again. I imagine more stress will come with that, so we are focusing on the present right now and leaving the future in God's hands.

Logan's favorite part about the new place is that he can watch the trains go by on the tracks behind our house. It's a great view with little noise, and actually, we all like watching them go by.

Eating Grandma's homemade cookies.

Marshall's new favorite place to play.

The unfinished basement aka "kid heaven"
I have never seen Brady and Logan do so many puzzles in one day. It's great to have a place to keep them up for more than 10 minutes too.

Sledding, right in our own yard.

Our new address here is 18524 Duluth St. We are still in Farmington, just a bit west of where we were. If you'd like to come down and watch the trains with us, just let me know. You are welcome to visit anytime.
