Making Winter Fun

Winter is my least favorite season for many reasons. Let's see...snow, cold weather, coats and boots, icy roads, staying inside all the time, long sleeve shirts, muddy floors, snowy driveways, short, dark days...to name a few.

About this time each year, I start really looking forward to getting outside and enjoying the spring and summer again. But, it will still be some time before that happens.

Brady and Logan have been longing to play in the awful white stuff, so I finally gave in :).

Last Monday, after receiving a few inches of snow(because when aren't we receiving a few inches of snow?), I sent my big boys out to shovel the driveway for Daddy, before our plows came by. They had a blast and worked really hard! Unfortunately, not a lot of snow was actually cleared off the driveway. Silly boys.

Then, just yesterday (a day when it would have actually been warm enough to comfortably play outside), we brought some of the white, icy cold goodness inside our home!
Brady and Logan got some snowplows from Grandma and Grandpa this weekend, so they spent some time plowing snow on cookie sheets in the kitchen, while letting Daddy sleep in late.
