Big Boy Bed

The time has finally come for Logan to move up to a big boy bed.

I was planning on waiting until he was all the way potty trained, but then we decided that he was ready, so we just went ahead with it. He is making excellent strides toward being all the way potty trained, and he's almost 3 years old now!

On Saturday afternoon, Auntie Laura and Uncle Jason drove the new bed down from Grandma and Grandpa's house. They were also kind enough to stop by a mattress store and pick up one of those on the way too.

Since Brady and Logan's beds are actually separated bunk beds, Brady made the decision to take the bottom bunk (for now) that has no extra rails on it, and give the top bunk with the added rails to Logan (so he doesn't fall out).

I was a little sad to see the crib leave the room and head to the garage for now, but I know that come next year, Marshall will be joining his big brothers and he'll be needing a larger crib. Brady and Logan are already excited about that too, since it means they'll actually have their beds bunked at that point.

Here are some pictures of Brady and Logan's new "big boy" room.

Now all they need is a class from Uncle J in how to make the Millenium Falcon out of blankets and the bed posts.
