Each Day...

Each Day I...

- wake up at 6:45, wishing I had gone to bed a little earlier.
- sweep or vacuum the kitchen floor. Where are all the crumbs coming from anyways?
- thank God for my family.
- load 3 children into the van and return home with 1 or 2 children, depending on the day.
- do laundry, dishes, and pack a school lunch.
- wish there were more hours in the day.
- read books and have books read to me.
- look forward to time spent with my better half, after the kids are in bed and the house is quiet.
- watch at least 5 trains go by our house.
- wish it was warmer outside.
- am thankful for my best friends, and look forward to phone calls or e-mails from them.
- brush 3 sets of teeth, twice.
- send little boys out to get the mail.
- prepare 3 meals and clean up after 2 of them. I have a wonderful, helpful husband who takes care of dinner dishes every night.
- Comb a spike into 3 heads of hair, to the best of my ability.
- hug, kiss, and pray with my special little ones.
- dream that Peter and I could have a date night, or even an evening at home, alone.
- am busier than I should be, trying to figure out what is keeping me so busy.
- am thankful that Marshall has his own room now, out of our bedroom closet.
- dream about taking the kids to Florida.
- tuck children into bed before 8pm and don't hear them again until after 7:30am (except for Marshall, who sleeps until 8am).
- tell Peter at least 3 times how much I love our new place. And he tells me the same.
- am so happy with our family and with this life we live. It is peaceful down here in Farmington, and I can't imagine ever wanting to leave.
