Very Brief Update

I've been an absent blogger, so here is a very brief update, since I have a pile of unread magazines sitting here that I'd like to browse through.

We have not moved. We are still waiting for an answer from the bank. It's been just about 5 months now since we got the offer on our house. Patience is important. So are prayers.

Brady is doing outstanding in school! His teacher says he is at a 2nd grade level in math and reading and he was asking to join a special reading group, which he did. He is also going to be working on a special project that he will present to his class. We are so proud of him!!

Logan has finally mastered the fine art of using the scissors and cutting in a straight line. He is also doing excellent in school and his teacher says he's on the fast track to kindergarten next year. Logan will be taking part in our church Christmas program this holiday season as well-he will be an angel :).

Marshall talks and talks. His favorite words are dada, mama, cracker, down, bye, ball, kitty, dogga, and bear. He is an excellent sleeper these days, sleeping until past 8AM everyday. I can't believe he already turned 20 months old this week!

Peter is busy at work. He is there right now, at 8:45PM. We are thankful for his job and especially thankful for his vacation from work next week.

We are gearing up for the holiday season at our house. We'll be spending Thanksgiving in Blaine, with Peter's sister next week. Then we will have to decide if we will decorate for Christmas this year or not--depending on the sale of our house. My goal for Christmas this year--relax and enjoy, cut back on the chaos :).
