God's Blessings

As I stood in church this morning, I began thinking about the many blessing that God gives me everyday, and I began to feel frustrated with myself for rarely acknowledging them the way I should.

Here are some of the things that God has blessed me with this year.
* A healthy family
* A quiet and peaceful town to live in.
* A wonderful school for Brady, with excellent teachers and programs.
* A great church and a great church family!
* A new bible study for myself and all 3 boys!
* Melting snow and slightly warmer temps.
* Having the opportunity to dedicate Marshall to the Lord at our church.

Jan. 23
* A much stronger marriage than we had a year ago.
* Enough income to live comfortably and a nice tax return.
* Great friends, family, and cousins to support me, pray for me, and have a lot of fun with!
* Consistent and flexible hours at my one-weekend-a-month job.
* A great husband who is so patient and understanding towards me and who helps out so much around the house!
* An opportunity to finally meet one of our neighbors and share a used baby item with her.
* Wonderful memories of one year ago, when Marshall first entered our family.
* Goofy children who are always making me smile.

I think it is so important that we take the time to recognize all that God has given us. It's so easy to take all of the credit for ourselves, but when we can really give all the glory to Him, then we can deepen our relationship with Him so much more. I've also learned as a mother, that when I give the glory to God, my children notice!!
