Thankful

I did a post awhile back for Thanksgiving about all of the things I my life that I am so thankful for.
Well, it's not Thanksgiving time just yet, but I thought it might do me some good to take a few minutes to think once again about some things that I am thankful for.

I am thankful for....

- My family. All of them. My parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, sister, in-laws, children, and of course, my wonderful husband.

- Sleep. With a newborn in the house and a 2 year old who's been sick on and off, it's not always easy. Somehow I've managed to get "enough" sleep every night to function and feel pretty good the next day. I am especially grateful for the nights that I manage to get my full 8 hours, which surprisingly is most of the time.

- Summer. I can't wait to get outside more often and soak in the sunshine.
- My house. Although it's not very big, and eventually we'll have 3 boys sharing one room, it's still our home. We've lived in Farmington for 4 years now and I just love it here. It's quiet, safe, and peaceful down here.

- Brady and Logan's friendship. Not all siblings are friends, but I always hoped that my children could find friendship the way that my sister and I did. The two of them are almost inseparable! I love to hear their conversations and watch the way they make believe together. I'm hoping they'll make some room for Marshall in their friendship someday too.

- My best friends--you know who you are (or you should anyways :). I love the chance to have some time out with the girls and just take a break from being a mommy for a couple hours. I think that time away is important and rejuvenating.

- Date nights with Peter. Whether they be out at the movies, out to dinner, or just at home, I love having time alone with just my husband. Lately our "date nights" have consisted of watching game shows on DVR while feeding Marshall or rocking him to sleep, but I'm hoping to get out soon, just the two of us (not even Marshall needs to join the fun).

That's all for now.
I have a baby who is hungry and little boys who are waiting to play trains with me.
Life must go on now.

Amen to all of those things! :)
We as a family as truly blessed!
To live close, have good relationships and share what so many families don't share these day.
God is good! :)
