Absent Blogger

If you've noticed that I've been neglecting my blog lately, you would be correct.
A lot has been going on around here that has pulled me away from the computer and closer to God. That's not a bad thing, right?

For today I'd just like to share 2 prayer requests for our family.

1. Pray that we would become a healthy family again. Brady started the Kuznia illness on Valentine's weekend with a fever and then an ear infection. Next, Logan got a fever and a runny nose. Then, Peter and I got it the worst (of course). We've been battling the sore throat, runny/stuffy nose, lack of sleep, occasional fever, and coughing fits since Thursday now and it doesn't seem to be letting up yet. Yuck! Logan is still spiking the occasional fever as well too, but Brady seems to be all the way better.

2. Pray that our unborn baby #3, Bunjamin, would stay put for his last 5 weeks until my due date in late March. I have already had two scares this pregnancy. The first was at 30 weeks when I was having a lot of early contractions. Luckily they died down and things went back to normal for another month. Then, last Friday night, it started again--too many contractions, too early. Although my doctor just told me last week that she would probably not stop labor at this point in the pregnancy, we would really rather our baby remain inside of me for as long as possible, and not come out 6 weeks too early. Again, the contractions finally calmed down on Friday and I've been doing okay since then. My due date is now just 5 weeks from tomorrow, so prayers to keep this little one safe and sound until closer to that date would be much appreciated.

3. I know, I said I only had 2 prayer requests for our family.
This third request I would like to keep as a silent request. Please just pray that God's hand would be evident in our family...in our house, in our parenting, in our marriage. Pray for strength and courage as we face many difficult and challenging situations.

Thanks!
I think I feel the most miserable today--as far as this cold.
