Logan Peter

Logan Peter is my second son. We generally refer to him as our "Logie Bear" or just simply the "Bear". He's held that nickname since he was about 1 month old or so, I think.

Logan was born on June 18, 2007. He weighed in at 7 lbs. and was 20.5 inches long.
As a newborn, Logan had jaundice and spent some time on a bili-bed (only about 3 days, luckily).

Then, at about 4 months old, he wore a helmet to correct his plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome). His flat head was caused by torticollis in the womb (a tight neck muscle) and acid reflux as a newborn (causing him to only sleep upright). Luckily, Logan got the helmet off for good at 7 months old, which was surprisingly fast!

Logan has always had a great zest for life! He learned to sit up at 7 months, crawl at 8 months, and walk at 12 months. He also hit all 3 of these milestones before his older brother. It's hard work keeping up with an older brother!

Some Favorites:
M&M color: brown
Toy: cars
Stuffed Animal: his blanket Kirby
Food: Everything (Logan has rarely ever turned down food)
Drink: Milk
Fruit: "strawbradies"

Likes:
Naps
Books
Balls Swings at the park
Basketball
Baths
His kitties
His brother
Music
Toys
M&Ms ("candy buns")
Brushing his teeth

Dislikes:
TV
Chocolate milk
Being told what to do
Coming in from outside
Waiting for anything

Logan is my spunky little 2 year old who is always busy, busy, busy. Keeping him entertained and busy can be quite a job sometimes!
Logan is also very temper mental (if you've met him, you know what I mean). Tantrums are commonplace at our house....daily! Logan will scream for just about any reason and at any time. Keeping him happy is a difficult task and makes taking him anywhere public, very trying :).

We love Logan very much and we wouldn't want him any other way. It would be a lie, however, to say that I won't be so glad when this "screaming" stage is over.

Here are a few pictures of Logan as a baby

And as a toddler

What a joy it has been to be a mommy to my boys! I love them both so very much and I feel so lucky to have to chance to become a mommy once again in the spring.

I am anxious to see Logan continue to grow and develop into more of a little boys in the coming months.
