I am tired. It is getting really hard for me to sleep comfortably and to stay asleep all night.
I am busy. There has been so much to do in preparation of having this baby. Here's what is left on our list. Shots for our cat, Charlie on Wednesday, oil change for the van, install the car seat, take the van to the auto body shop for rear bumper repairs (remember our car accident 2 1/2 months ago?), do our taxes, fill out a huge stack of papers for Kindergarten, replace several light bulbs, prepare address labels for birth announcements, and take Logan to the doctor this afternoon for his "owies."
Oh, and I also really need to clean this house.
I am blessed. I am feeling so blessed during this busy time too. Blessed to be involved in a great bible study, blessed to have a great family who is ready to make last-minute plans when Bunjamin decides to make his appearance, and blessed to have great children who are currently working together on building with train tracks.
I am blessed to have a great husband who is currently working hard with me on our new marriage book. I am hopeful that we will find our way to the exact place where God wants us to be. I am also hoping that my great husband will not have to miss his great opportunity for luxury box seats at the Wild game this Sunday on account of our baby being born then :).
I am waiting. I'm waiting for this baby. Today marks week 37 of my pregnancy! I have been having many signs of early labor in the past week and I am trying hard to be patient. I go back to the doctor on Thursday to find out if an early induction will be in our future, or perhaps not just yet. Either way, we completely trust our doctor's decision and God's perfect timing for this little one.
I am nervous. Lately I've been feeling a little nervous about how I will manage being a mommy to 3 children, being a wife, staying in God's word daily, and still having a little time to breathe. I know that things will all work out fine, but it feels a little overwhelming to think about it all.
Bring on the baby!!! Oh, and our little Bunjamin has a name now too. I'm not going to share it on here, but some of you already know what it is (or what it will likely be anyways).

Baby Wants Out!
Yesterday I went to the doctor for my 36 week check-up, and it would appear that this baby wants to come out soon.
With the two bouts of early contractions that I've had, at 30 weeks and again at 34 weeks, I wasn't completely surprised by this news.
I was, however, really hoping to hear that nothing was going on yet and that we had another 4 weeks to prepare for this baby.
This was the news instead, though.
My doctor told me yesterday that I am dilated to 2 cm. She wants to see me next Thursday for my 37 week appointment, and then she'll make a decision about having a scheduled induction. She basically said that if nothing has changed in the next week, then we'll go for another week. But, if I've dilated further or made any other further progress toward labor, then we will tentatively schedule an induction for Sunday, March 14. Wow, that just sounds way too soon!
You may wonder why an induction again? Well, the reasons that my doctor stated yesterday were these. I live an hour from the hospital where I'll be delivering, I have a history of very fast labors, and in March, the weather can be unpredictable.
Plus, an induction sounds very pleasing to me. This is the route I went with both of my previous labors. There is something very comforting to me about being prepared and knowing what to expect ahead of time. I do, of course, want this baby to stay inside of me for as long as possible, but inductions are completely safe for both me and the baby, so there's no reason to worry. I would also rather not deliver this baby in the car on the way up :). From the time my water broke with Logan, to the time he was actually born, was about 30 minutes! Plus, in those 30 minutes, I was nearly rushed into an emergency c-section. There's no reason to believe that this delivery will be the same, but none-the-less, I'd like to be at the hospital when I deliver.
Anyways, for now, I will just hang in there and take care of some of my "nesting."
I will keep the blog updated as to what I find out next week, or if we don't make it to next week :).

36 Weeks
This is what 36 weeks pregnant with our third baby is looking like for me.
I can hardly believe that it's already March and that it will most likely be in this month that we get to meet our newest baby boy!
Only 4 weeks left!
I will continue to keep you posted as the next 4 weeks pass as to how I am growing and changing and how close Bunjamin is to making his official appearance and finally getting a real name :).

I'm back
Wow, I can't believe it's already been a whole week since I last blogged!
I have been so sick. I am tired of being sick and tired of being tired too.
I think this cold is finally wrapping up, but let's just keep praying that it will end soon.
So here's the scoop lately:
Tomorrow marks week 36 of my pregnancy! I do have updated belly pictures to share, but it might take me a day or so to actually get them on here....sorry.
We are in full "baby prep" mode around here. The crib is finally up, the baby clothes are all washed and ready to be worn, and we now have a third baby book to be written in.
I also spent a little time today confirming that our infant car seat is still recall-free and safe to use....all checked out well.
This Thursday I'll be heading up for my 36 week appointment, and then I'll be going back weekly from here on out.
I can't imagine that I'll still be pregnant 4 weeks from today, but who knows? I'll keep you posted on the info from the doctor as I get it.
We just finished a great weekend! Seriously, I can't remember a more relaxing and fun weekend that was so completely unplanned as of Friday afternoon.
Friday evening we spontaneously invited Laura and Jason down for some pizza and a game of Risk (which is not fun to play with only 2). We haven't done anything like this in years...I think since 1999 actually. Peter ended up defeating us all, but had a great time trying to beat him and munching on jelly beans at the same time :).
Then, on Saturday, we spontaneously invited my parents over for dinner. We grilled up some hamburgers for the first time this season and had a great evening of chatting and playing with the boys. They also delivered the "Bunjamin box." It has been a tradition that when a new baby is on the way, my parents make up a box of baby things to give to them. Bunjamin was no exception.
Then, to wrap up the weekend, on Sunday we went up to Blaine to celebrate our niece Morgan's 11th birthday. She is very into the American Girl Doll scene this year, so that was a bit of a theme for the evening. We had a fun night of eating sloppy joes, watching Morgan open gifts, watching a magic show, and letting the boys run crazy with their only cousins. We also got to see Peter's mom and step-dad, who we don't see often enough.
This week is looking to be a normal week for us, finally.
Peter will be working all 5 days this week, which hasn't happened in about 3 weeks now. He is also back to his running routine as of today.
My plans for the week pretty much consist of getting my house clean, getting all the baby "stuff" in order, working on my bible study, and getting outside with the boys as much as possible.
I am so excited for spring this year!!

A Nice Weekend
I am getting ready to face another week today after a great weekend! I'm also getting ready to face another month. Goodbye already January--you will not be missed :).
This weekend was a rare weekend with no plans (for me anyways).
On Saturday, Peter had his annual alumni basketball tournament up in St. Francis. His team played 5 games in a row and he was completely exhausted by the end (especially adding in the 1.5 hr trip each way). They ended up losing the championship game by a mere 5 points. Bummer.
As for me and the boys....
We stayed at home on Saturday.
We sorted through baby clothes, made Valentine-frosted sugar cookies, worked on a project for Brady's preschool class, wore sweatpants, and ate McDonalds. It was a great day--except we all missed having Daddy around.
Sunday was relaxing too.
After a great message at church, we dropped off a huge bag of baby clothes at Goodwill and grabbed some Culver's for lunch (I know, I know, our eating this weekend was not healthy).
Then, while Logan and Daddy napped, Brady and I went out shopping. I succeeded in using my Christmas gift card and managed to find some wall hangings for the freshly painted living room walls. I can't wait to hang them up today!!
Brady and I were also stopped by 3 separate women at the store, just so they could each tell Brady how well he was behaving and what a big boy he was. Brady was so proud of himself, and I felt the same. Him and I later shared a smoothie at the mall, where we also found a few items on clearance for Peter.
What a nice, relaxing weekend. It went by way too fast, as they always do, but I am thankful for this one indeed.
As for the little guy inside of me?
He's doing well, as far as I know :).
I have continued having contractions this weekend, but they seem to be somewhat under control (not more than 6 an hour, which the doctor said would be cause for concern).
I have also started to feel this little guy's heels poking out my right side. I remember this feeling oh-so-well from when I was pregnant with Brady.
I am hoping to work one more weekend this month, and then take a break for a couple months. Hopefully I'll be able to make it through without any problems.

28 Weeks
Ok, I finally had a chance to get some pictures taken of my growing belly at 28 weeks along. 28 weeks also marks the beginning of my third trimester--wow, that sure went fast!
And just for fun, I thought I'd add the pictures that I also have from about this same stage of pregnancy, but roughly 2 1/2 years ago, while pregnant with Logan.

This ended up being the only picture I was willing to share, since my shirt is down in this one :).
It's hard to tell, but I think I look pretty similar in both. Plus, I was wearing the same pair of pants both times. Strange.
I go back to the doctor this week for my 28 week glucose testing (to test for gestational diabetes). Then I believe I will start to see the doctor every 2 weeks, instead of every 4. Fun times!

27 Weeks
I know, I know, I keep saying that I'll post some new belly pictures. Well, truth be told, I haven't really taken any just yet, but I'll share what little I do have.
Today I am officially 27 weeks along and feeling great! Next week I go in for my 28 week appointment. I can't believe it's already 3rd trimester time! These pregnancies just keep going by faster and faster.

This is just a picture of baby #3 receiving his first Christmas gift--yellow elephant blankets :).
I will work on capturing some better photos later this week, but until then, please let me know if you have some good baby name suggestions. We do not have a name for baby boy number 3 yet :).

Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!
Well if you haven't already guessed it by the title of this post, Peter and I found out yesterday that we are expecting our third BOY!
This does not come as a huge surprise to us since Peter's family has a long line of boys! In the 3 generations before now, there have been about 12 Kuznia children born, and of those 12, 10 or so have been boys! Needless to say, after having 2 boys already, we were not completely shocked to find out about a third :).
Since I am a newbie at scanners, I haven't scanned the ultrasound pictures yet to share. I'm not really sure if I will scan them either, since they aren't as clear as the ones I got with the other boys. I guess we'll see.
Although I'll admit that we were hoping for a little girl this time, we are not disappointed by the news of another boy at all! We are just feeling very blessed to have another healthy baby! We are also feeling blessed to know that God created this special little boy just for us and for our family! It doesn't get any better than that!
Plus, there are some definite positives to a third boy. First, we don't have to buy anything! Our baby clothes, despite having been through 2 boys already, are still in excellent condition, with some of them hardly worn. We also won't be needing any toys. Our house is nice and full of boyish toys--from baby toys to big-boy toys, we're covered!
Also, if I haven't mentioned it before, ultimately these 3 children will be sharing a bedroom. Three boys in one room seems to make a little better sense too. Logan should be moving up to a big bed around 3 years old, and by the time he's 4 we're hoping to bunk the beds! At that point, our newest peanut should be joining the other 2 and also inheriting the "big" crib. I'm sure it will take a lot of figuring out, but I am excited to see all 3 of my baby boys sleeping in the same room someday. Oh, and inevitably we'll be buying a larger home in the coming years. No rush on that, though.
Here was Brady's reaction upon finding out that his newest sibling was going to be a boy:
"Ay yay yay yay yay"
"We have enough boys in this house, I wanted a girl this time"
Since he's heard the news, however, Brady has adjusted well to having another brother on the way. He also seems pretty anxious to share his room once again. I think he's mostly just glad that the baby won't be joining us for some time yet :).
I guess there is less doubt now that the Kuznia name will be passed down again. There has also been talk, dare I even say (or think), of a 4th? Not likely, but who knows?

Big News!
My cousin Katie and her husband Ben were able to find out the gender of their new baby during their ultrasound appointment yesterday.
They will be expecting their new baby GIRL to arrive in late March!
Congrats Katie and Ben! We are so happy to hear your baby is happy and healthy and we can't wait to meet her.
As for Peter and I, we are still waiting for 5 more long days to find out the gender of our baby.

Guessing Game
In an effort to get some more readers to leave comments on the blog, I am hosting a guessing game.
I've had many people tell me how they read my blog and enjoy it, but I haven't seen a lot of comments from some of those readers.

Girls and Bellies
I had a great time out with the girls last night! We enjoyed Chipotle for dinner and a nice, long chat afterward.
I also had a fun, but brief chat with my Grandparents right before our girls night! Grams and Gramps computer decided it had enough last week. Not completely surprising, since Peter built that computer about 7 years ago with used parts from the computer lab at Hamline, but it's still hard to lose your computer. Luckily, Laura and Jason were just thinking about getting rid of their desktop computer, so we brought that our to Grams and Gramps last night. Now to figure out the internet for them.... I'm hoping my dad made some progress on that aspect after we left.
The night would not have been complete without some baby belly pictures, so here they are.

Just 2 more weeks for Katie and 3 more weeks for me until we get to find out whether are babies are boys or girls. Yay!

Quick Update # 2
Here's the scoop:
Monday's doctor visit went great! I spent 4 hours at the clinic. I had 2 appointments and then stayed to find out how my cousin Katie's appointment went as well.
Since my mom was working, she got to come in to hear the baby's heartbeat with me for the first time. Everything sounded great! I even got the ok to skip a few of my upcoming visits, since this is my third pregnancy and things are going so well. Also because we live so far from the clinic. I really doubt that I'll be skipping any appointments, though. I love hearing that little heart beat so much!
Brady and Logan got attacked by mosquitoes at my parents house on Monday. They must taste really sweet, because they were barely even outside. Brady now has one swollen ankle and foot and one swollen calf. They look horrible, but this is not the first time it has happened. It should be better soon. Logan has a big, red bump on his shin and a nice fever to go along with it.
Both boys are acting completely normal, however, and doing just great. It's nothing a little Tylenol and anti-itch creme can't solve.
Peter's work has finally calmed down just a bit and he is planning on taking Friday off work again (hopefully this time he won't end up working anyways). He is going to be making up his famous hamburger gravy and mashed potatoes for dinner, followed by his favorite game night with Brady and I. On Saturday, Peter is also going to be brave enough to bring the boys along to the Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul for his tux fitting for his friend's upcoming wedding. Should be interesting!!
As for me, I have to work this weekend and then I am off until late October. That makes it so much easier to go! I am getting excited for Florida, but trying to enjoy our wonderful summer-like weather here as well.
Monday's doctor visit went great! I spent 4 hours at the clinic. I had 2 appointments and then stayed to find out how my cousin Katie's appointment went as well.
Since my mom was working, she got to come in to hear the baby's heartbeat with me for the first time. Everything sounded great! My Pregnancy--11 weeks
Ok, don't start to worry. I am most certainly not going to give a weekly update on my pregnancy just yet. That would get extremely boring to read since not much is changing from week to week (for me anyways, the baby is changing rather quickly).
But here's the scoop so far.
I have been blessed once again to have had very minimal morning sickness issues. I was unable to eat meat for awhile, but that passed in about a weeks time. I also had a little trouble with food smells for awhile, but that has long since passed as well. Even my increased fatigue is getting better, which is good with 2 busy boys around.
I will be 12 weeks along next Tuesday and I go to my first OB appointment on Monday. I am anxious to go to the doctor for a few reasons this time. First of all, I haven't been in since my positive pregnancy test back in July, and it feels kind of strange to not have seen the doctor yet. Secondly, I absolutely love my clinic in Fridley. I know it's a bit of a drive, but it's well worth it to have excellent doctors and nurses who know me so well! Plus, who can beat a free babysitter (since my mom is home 2-3 days a week). I certainly can't have Peter taking a day off work every month to tag along to boring appointments.
But speaking of boring appointments....this one will not be one of those. Next week I get to hear our little baby's heartbeat for the first time. The sound of a tiny heartbeat is so precious!
I have no belly pictures to share today, since I have only gained 2 lbs. so far and I really don't look at all different. Peter and I will be leaving for Florida in exactly 3 weeks now! I bought a pair of maternity shorts (on cheap clearance) to wear on our trip, but now I am wondering if I will actually even need them. I have been told, however, that with the third pregnancy I may "pop" out even faster than I did with the first two. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
At 11 weeks along, this baby is already 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig. The baby is almost fully formed now and will soon open and close its fists. The tooth buds are forming, and some bones are beginning to harden. Isn't that just amazing? I am so happy to know that God is forming this baby inside of me!!
Now we wait--which is good. I need a little break from all of the summer's craziness. In the second week of November we will be having our ultrasound, and at this point we will find out our baby's gender. It feels like that day can't get here fast enough!
I will give another update in a month or so, and maybe I'll have some belly pics to share at that time!
