Over the past month, I have really missed blogging and sharing my family with you.
I am in the early stages of starting a new blog, since this one became too full to accept more pictures (and what would my blog be without pictures?).
I have not blogged at the new site yet, but I wanted to let you know how to access that blog.
I have added a link to the top of my sidebar that should get you to the new blog. I have also added a link on the new blog that will get you back here. It should be easy, in theory :).
You can find the new blog at this address:
http://thekuznias5.blogspot.com/
Please let me know if you have trouble accessing the new blog or getting back to this one and I will try to help.
Looking forward to some more blogging soon!!

Taking a break
I started writing this blog during the summer of 2009. The reason I write is not to share my top-notch writing skills, or show how perfect our family is, or even to make any money from those annoying ads that pop up on many blogs.
The reason I started writing and have continued writing is to keep in contact with those I see less frequently, to share pictures and updates of our family, and just share what is on my mind.
It's been nearly a week since I asked you to speak up and tell me to keep this blog alive or let it go.
In the past week, I have heard from only 2 who wanted to keep the blog up and running.
While I appreciated the input from my 2 best friends, I was hoping to hear from more.
I am going to safely assume that many are no longer reading regularly anymore, since I have been an irregular blogger at best in the past few months.
With that said, I think the time has come to say good-bye (not to all of you, but to this blog, where I have shared my family with you).
If I can find anyway to share one last picture, I will.
I will plan to keep the blog active for about a month or so, to make sure that everyone has a chance to receive the news.
It was so fun to share with you all over these last 3 1/2 years. I will certainly miss blogging for you all to read.

What do you think?
I am trying to make a decision about continuing with this blog or saying goodbye to it.
Please let me know, via the comments section or e-mail, if you are interested my keeping the blog alive.
Also feel free to let me know if you think it's time to say adios for awhile or longer.
I will make my blogging decision soon, since I hate when the blogs I read sit around untouched for months and I'm not sure if they are coming back or not. If I choose to stop the blog, I will post one final time, so that everyone is clear about my decision.
Comments please!
I have some really cute pics of the boys, but since I can't post anymore pictures, I can't share them.
Sorry.

Happy December
If you've noticed, I haven't been blogging much lately. It's for a variety of reasons, but mostly just because I don't have much that I care to share on the blog here.
I finally got the house all decorated for Christmas last week, and it looks awesome! It's so much fun to decorate in a new house with so much space. I'll have to try and capture a few, fun photos before the season is over.
Oh, and speaking of photos....
There won't be any more of them on here.
I am sorry to say that I have run out of space to share my pictures with you all.
At this point, I would have to pay money to post more pictures, and I am not willing to do that.
I am not sure if this will be the end of my blog or not, but I will keep you posted when I make a decision.
For now, though, have a wonderful Christmas!

Being Thankful
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I wanted to share some of the reasons that I am thankful this year.
- First of all, I am thankful for God and His presence in my life this year.
I am also thankful for:
- Peter, who is my everyday companion, wonderful father, and shoulder to cry on
- Brady, who goes out of his way to put a smile on my face
- Logan, who hugs me until I nearly fall over and loves to spin with me
- Marshall, who still snuggles and sings with me every afternoon and evening
- A new place to live, after the sale of our town house in January
- A very healthy family
- Farmington public school and especially Akin Road Elementary
- Farmington Community Education, sports for the kids that I can actually afford
- Chapel Hill Church
- Wonderful friendships with amazing friends who are also family
- Busy mornings with my little boys
- Quiet afternoons by myself
- My role as stay-at-home mom (I could not do this without Peter and his hard work)
- My job as Physical Therapist Ass't, to give me another purpose, in serving the elderly
- BSF. A place to study God's word, while my children study it as well. I am thankful that all 5 of us are doing BSF this year and that Katie and Addy recently joined as well
- My family and the time we've spent together this year, traveling the country
- Extended family, and I am so glad to have seen many of them this past year
- Thanksgiving next week-- a time to spend with family, just enjoying each other and being thankful together
- Target (I don't know what I would do without it :)
- The families who adopted Charlie and Simon this year
- Bonfires in the backyard
- Chocolate, Diet Pepsi, and Egg Nog
- Our gas fireplace, which always warms me right up
- A safe neighborhood, with tons of little boys for my little boys to play with
- God's perfect timing, even when it doesn't feel "perfect" to me.
Not everything has gone exactly according to my plans this year, but I can rest comfortably knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for my life.
Right now we are taking life one step at a time and we are teaching our children that sometimes things don't work out the way we hope and plan they will.
"Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

Being Indoors
I am so thankful for my boys and the time I get to spend with them
It was hard to tell on Saturday, when the boys were wearing shorts and playing football outside, but winter is soon approaching--and it came along this morning, in fact. Brady was thrilled to see the snow, until he stood at the bus stop for 10 minutes and came running back home to warm up.
I love to play with my boys, and thanks to this great house that we are currently calling home, I have lots of space to make that happen. We play games and do puzzles and read books upstairs, we draw and do art at the kitchen table, and we have a huge basement with lots of room to run, play with toys, do more crafty projects and puzzles, and even play soccer with a real goal.
It's great--but I miss being outside this time of year.
Sure we do go out from time to time, but putting coats on everyone and then coming back in after 15 minutes is hardly my idea of fun. I miss putting out the pools in the morning, taking walks to the parks, and especially our picnics. This time of year is just not the same for me.
Sometimes the days get really long. I think I have read every book in our bookshelf at least twice in the past week (and we have lots of books in that shelf).
Since starring at the TV and playing video games all day is no good, we've been finding other ways to fill our mornings.
Last week we pulled out the Legos--Marshall loved them almost as much as he loves the Mega Blocks. Logan had a great time too--building houses, swords, and airplanes.
Today we worked together to decorate a turkey picture for Logan's class. We all did some finger painting and then Logan used markers and crayons to finish it off. Marshall was busy "painting" his paint-with-water pictures.
I considered gathering up some snow to bring inside, but we ran out of time and now it's mostly gone.
Maybe next time we'll have to do that, because let's face it--a lot more snow is bound to fall and soon :).
Hope you are enjoying the fall too!
I didn't have any really recent pictures of Brady, but don't worry, he gets in on lots of our fun too--in the afternoons. Today he played with Logan in the basement for over an hour. Lots of energy was spent down there :).
