A Funny Memory

I was recently thinking about one of my favorite memories with the boys, so I thought I'd share it.

The year: 2007
The month: August
The location: McDonalds in Apple Valley
The boys: Brady: 2 years, 2 months, Logan: 2 months

I think we had been shopping earlier in the day, and on the way home, I decided to brave taking the boys to McDonalds for lunch (something I had not done since having 2 children).

I was feeding Logan a bottle with one hand, while eating something somewhat healthy for myself with the other hand (since I was still trying to lose pregnancy pounds). Brady was sitting in a highchair at the end of the table, feeding himself some chicken nuggets and french fries.

About 2-3 tables away sat a heavy-set postal worker, dressed in a gray long sleeve top and matching gray pants (you know, the uniform that they wear). He was eating his own lunch, reading the newspaper, and completely minding his own business. Unaware that we were even there.

All of a sudden, in the very quiet restaurant, Brady shouts out in a rather loud voice, pointing at the postal worker:

"Look Mommy, I see an elephant over there"
"Look at that elephant, Mommy! "

Luckily, the man didn't seem to hear, or at least he never looked our way.
